Someone from work recommended this place. I'm not a big drinker and hate the taste of alcohol. Molly made me two drinks, the first was really strong, but still tasted alright. The second drink was absolutely amazing and she got me spot on with a blueberry and lemon flavor! My boyfriend and his friend came with and they loved their drinks as well. Molly specializes in classic historical drinks. If you don't like your drink, you can send it back and she will make you another one. Everyone is very happy, friendly, and in good spirits. Even when it gets busy, there is a calming energy that surrounds the place. I am a very anxious person that's claustrophobic and not very sociable and not once did I feel like that. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.

This OTR bar has a fun vibe and great drinks. it's a popular spot on weekends, so dont be surprised to have trouble getting a table. If you're patient, you can usually snag a table or some chairs.

Cool spot. I really like going here since they remodeled the interior. They always have unique and tasty drink specials, but they're a little overpriced considering that they premake the drink mixes and the ingredients are not that expensive.

Great Cocktail Bar (ie. No food) Real casual atmosphere, back rooms have couches for more personal conversations. All the drinks are hand made with top liquor and ingredients. Liquor choices are staggering, many more selections than your average bar. Always a good choice.

This place is fantastic! The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and make the perfect drink everytime. The atmosphere there is so comfortable as well. You won't be disappointed.

I stopped here with my husband after dinner last night for a cocktail. I had been to Japp's once before and was hoping that Molly would still be behind the bar. She was not there but Jeremy took very good care of us. We each had a cocktail off of their specialty board. I ordered the Bad Girls drink and my husband ordered a Pimm's cup. My drink was too dry to my liking and so I switched with my husband. I enjoyed the Pimm's very much. As there were not a lot of customers last night Jeremy gave us extra attention. We will be traveling to Italy later this year and he gave us a lesson on Italian liqueurs. I really love the ambiance of this old wig store. We were told that renovations will be happening very soon. I am sure that the original details will still be in place due to Molly's love of history but the rest of the bar will be even nicer.

First time at Japp's. I had read about it and just never made the effort to go downtown just for drinks. Dumb move.Japp's has been converted from an old wig store. It retains a lot of the heritage in a eclectic kind of way. We stopped by for drinks on Saturday night. They had a three piece jazz group playing which added to the vibe. It was a quiet night so we had a nice vantage point to just enjoy the music and people watch.Drinks are there speciality and will make up anything for you. If you don't know what you want just start with a base such as vodka or gin and they will craft something for you. Being a beer and Scotch lover I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy what I would normally call a "froo froo" drink, so much that I had three different drinks.A great place to relax and enjoy friends over a few drinks.

Classy digs, a little small to spread out for dancing, but plenty of class and extra seating in the back for the real estate available.

Great cocktail bar with amazing service. The staff is beyond well educated and will make you something that you love. I wasn't drinking last time I was there and the mocktail that was made for me was incredible

Great atmosphere. They make wonderful non-alcoholic cocktails (as well as regular cocktails, obviously). The bartenders are always super friendly.

I love the set up of this bar, it’s beautiful and spacious. It’s perfect as far as being able to hear the people around you so it’s great for groups and the ambiance makes it great for a date as well. I then asked if they had limoncello (they didn’t) and then asked if they had Grand Mariner (they didn’t) and then asked if I could have an Irish Coffee (they didn’t have that either) so needless to say after my vodka tonic I ended up at Mt. Adams at the Blind Lemon, sitting by their huge fire pit, sipping on an Irish Coffee that had Grand Mariner it.
